Drums

Grooves played by session drummer Robin Hatterschide, not programmed loops.

  • • Rock, funk, pop and latin feels, with more on the way
  • • Every groove recorded at several tempos, then stretched to yours with pitch intact
  • • 40 to 300 BPM, controlled from the block encoder knob
  • • Tempo source: use ShedPocket's own tempo, or lock to Anagram's global tempo
  • • Too fast or too slow for a groove? It plays in half or double time on the same bar grid
  • • Optional stick count-in of one or two bars
  • • Change grooves mid-song and the new one comes in on the next bar line

Drone

The drone engine from ShedSpace, on its own page.

  • • 14 chord voicings, from a single note and a 5th up to Maj7 and Dim7
  • • 5 octaves of range, from deep sub-bass to the upper register
  • • 7 sounds: Clean, Warm, Pad, Bright, Dark, Strings, Organ
  • • Fades in when you switch it on and out when you switch it off

Built for the Anagram

Two pages of controls
drums on page 1, drone on page 2, with tabs in the top bar
Encoder-driven tempo
Tempo is bound to the block encoder knob. Grab it and turn.
Global tempo sync
Lock to the Anagram's global tempo so ShedPocket follows the rest of your board.
Signal passes through
Your bass passes through untouched. The drums and drone are added to it.
Place it last
Put ShedPocket at the end of your chain so your effects stay on your bass, not on the drums.
Independent engines
Drums and drone each have their own switch and volume. Use one, both or neither, and put either switch on a footswitch.
Starts on the one
Switching the drums on starts the groove on beat 1, after the count-in if you set one.
