Mobile App Terms of Use

Effective date: October 2, 2026

These terms apply to the ShedSpace mobile app for iPhone, iPad and Android ("the app"), published by Sprung Interactive LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What the app is

ShedSpace is a practice tool for musicians: a metronome, a drone, and recorded drum loops that play in time together. It works without an account and without an internet connection once installed.

2. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own practice, teaching and rehearsal. This licence lasts as long as you follow these terms.

You may not:

  • copy, extract, resell or redistribute the app or any audio it contains;
  • use the drum loops or other recordings outside the app, including in your own recordings, samples or products;
  • reverse engineer or modify the app, except where the law says you may;
  • use the app in any way that breaks the law.

3. Free trial and purchases

The app is free to use in full for 7 days after you first open it. After that, continued use requires either a yearly plan or a one-time lifetime purchase. The current prices are shown in the app and in your app store before you buy.

All purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are charged to your store account. We never see or store your payment details. The store's own terms also apply to your purchase.

The yearly plan renews automatically each year at the same price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings or in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

The lifetime purchase is a single payment that does not renew.

A purchase belongs to the store account that made it. A purchase made on the Apple App Store does not unlock the app on Android, and a purchase made on Google Play does not unlock it on iPhone or iPad.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its refund policy. For Apple purchases, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play purchases, request one through Google Play. If a refund is granted, access that came with the purchase ends.

5. Ownership and third-party material

The app, its design and its audio recordings belong to Sprung Interactive LLC or to the musicians and licensors who made them, and are protected by copyright. The app uses the Rubber Band Library audio time-stretcher from Breakfast Quay under a commercial licence. Full credits are in the app under About.

6. Privacy

How the app handles information is described in the Mobile App Privacy Policy at https://shedspaceapp.com/mobile-privacy/.

7. Updates and changes

We may update the app to fix problems, add or change features, or keep it working with new versions of iOS and Android. We may also update these terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.

8. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be free of errors or interruptions, or that it will work on every device.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sprung Interactive LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

10. Ending these terms

Your licence ends automatically if you break these terms. You can end it at any time by deleting the app. Sections 5, 8, 9 and 11 continue to apply after the licence ends.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.

12. Apple and Google

These terms are between you and Sprung Interactive LLC, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, and have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
